The IT Analyst will support operations and administration teams with insights gained from analyzing company data. This position will use large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization. The main priority is to focus on delivering value added solutions and information to drive innovation and continuous improvement by using a variety of tools for data analysis, building and implementing data models and data mining.


The position reports to the IT Data and Systems Manager and will support site management, administrative professionals and executives throughout the organization.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage data in business systems, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Manage users and user roles within systems.
  • Support development of reports and business analysis tools.
  • Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security and metadata.
  • Improve systems by studying current practices; design and recommend modifications.
  • Support the design and implementation of a data warehouse to meet business requirements.
  • Support implementation of new software and assist with strategic decision on new systems.
  • Training end users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Assist in infrastructure systems and development.
  • Support the database administrator functions for relational database systems.
  • Assist in all other IT support duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree in computer science or IT related field.
  • Three to 5+ years’ work experience as an IT data analyst or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling relational databases, BI reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, etc.), queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing concepts and design, AWS, Azure or other cloud-based systems, relational database design and structure, data warehousing concepts, and accounting / ERP systems and key concepts.
  • Proficient skill with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word)
  • Ability to take initiative and act independently in performing the responsibilities of the position to identify and implement solutions with team input
  • Ability to present information in a competent, efficient manner in non-technical terms when working with the various levels customer, both internal and external
  • Must be able to manage many projects simultaneously and prioritize workload appropriately using strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and a changing business environment
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Demonstrated strong work-ethic, outstanding leadership ability and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of Management
  • Candidates must be eligible to work unrestricted in the U.S. without company sponsorship
  • Ability to comprehend, read, write and communicate proficiently in English and interact with all levels of the organization
